Southeast Chapter

We are excited about our local NPSNJ chapter that serves native plant enthusiasts in Atlantic County and Cape May County as well as anyone from areas west or north who would like to join us. We hold eight evening meetings a year on the 3rd Monday of the month (September, October, November, February, March, April, May, and June). We are delighted that Stockton University's Sustainability Program – specifically the Campus Farm Native Plant Project – is sponsoring us and making it possible for us to have meetings in an easily-accessible location and a comfortable setting with the necessary "smart room" equipment.

November Meeting:

7 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017
Stockton University
Room C136.

Pat Sutton:

"How to Make Messy Look Good (Maintenance Tips & Advice)"

Pat Sutton is a wildlife expert and conservationist, a tour leader, a veteran gardener, the author of several books, and one of our chapter's most popular speakers.

Is your native plant wildlife garden not living up to your expectations? Are some of your plants misbehaving? Are you afraid of what the neighbors think? Confused by what's what: invasive weed or treasured native? Pat will share tips and advice based on her 40 years of wildlife gardening.

If you have ever been to one of Pat's presentations, you know you are in for a treat (and this is one of her newest talks.) If you have not yet had the chance to listen to her and learn from her, goodness, come on out -- this is your next chance!

When: 7 pm, Monday, November 20
Where: C-136, Stockton University

Our chapter does not meeting December or January, so this is our last meeting until Monday, February 19.

Our Fall Chapter Meetings will be in C-136, Stockton University: Directions: Park in Parking Lot #1 and bear right walking down the hill, following the signs to Alton Auditorium. Enter the A-D Building by the main doors (on your left, across from the Arts & Sciences Building). Go upstairs one flight: C-wing will be on your right halfway down the hallway, C-136 is on the right toward the end of the wing.

See you soon!
