  • <i>Sisyrinchium angustifolium</i> ( Blue-eyed grass ) - Flower are about half inch across. The flowers do not mature at the same time so there are fruit capsules developing at the same time.

  • <i>Sisyrinchium angustifolium</i> ( Blue-eyed grass ) - Flower stalk has a bract about half way up the stem.  Above the bract there are two long flowering branches.  The lower stem is distinctly flat and winged and over 1/8 inch wide, see Newcomb's Wildflower guide.
