Thalictrum dioicum - Early Meadow Rue

This is a spring blooming native herbaceous perennial. It grows to about 1.5 feet and has male and female flowers are on separate plants. The flowers shown here are the male flowers with the numerous long drooping stamens. We saw a clump of these at Hacklebarney State Park. However, we did not see any female flowers.
